GCT is the most famous landmark in United States. GCT is very old place, it is railroad companies, it is before the growth of car and air travel. Thousand visitors go there every hours.

First, GCT is very old station, so the building threatened to destroy if the government did not take care this station.
Second, in 1960, the government decide to destroy this building.
Finally, many people objected this idea. In 1979, the government agreed. And it made GCT a notional historic landmark.

GCT could be destroyed in 1960, because the government did not take care for that. But now the government take care for this landmark, and many visitors visit it, and it is good economic for the government.

Coral polyps are one of the most beautiful creatures under the sea. Trillions of coral polyps have built structures called reefs. also limestones are important, it has been used in the construction of countless, castles, and banks, and crushed limestone is a major ingredient of cement. there are many people damage the cities beneath the sea by fishing illegal. many fisherman use blast fishing or liquid cyanid to kill as many fish as possible. fishing illegal kill the environment, ecosystem, and coral polyps.

One important sequence is about illegal fishing. First of all, people can get a lot of money for these special fish that live in the coral reefs. Therefore, people use illegal fishing, like blast fishing, to catch fish. Thirdly, the methods destroy the coral reefs, and lastly the ocean life is damaged.

Polyps are actually in a different category than fish, although they are both in the oceans. Polyps are in the phylum Cnidaria, and fish are in the phylum Chordata.

Finally, polyps are beautiful creatures of the sea, and with human conservation, they can continue to survive.

A. The main idea of this unit’s reading (topic, problem, and solution):

There are differences types of storms, and the storms are damage many buildings and kill a lot of people. Rising sea levels are increasing storm damage. The common storm is tropical cyclones.

B. An important sequence of events from the reading (first, second, and third):

First, the meteorologists predicted about the tropical cyclones would come.

Second, the tropical cyclone rotated around the center, and being stronger and bigger, because it being over water that is warmer than 27 degrees Celsius, and it speed up winds reach until 118 kilometers per hours.

Third, the scientists said that it is difficult to predict about tropical cyclones, even with computers. And they said that the storm are often energized to become tropical cyclone.

Fourth, many buildings damaged and many people died by storm surge. Storm surge is a rise in sea level, sometimes seven meters or more.

J. A description of categories from the reading (classification):

1-      Hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones is almost same, but the differences is the location. Hurricanes happen in the Caribbean Sea, and typhoons happen in the Pacific Ocean, and cyclones happen in h Indian Ocean.

Humid: having a lot of moisture in the air

Rotate: having the parts flat and spreading or radiating like the spokes of a wheel.

Forecasts: to say that (something) will happen in the future: to predict (something, such as weather) after looking at the information that is available

Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde

        Dr.Jekyll is a doctor who had two faces, good face(Dr.jekyll) and evil face(Mr.hyde). He was a good man in the morning until the evening. At the night, he was a murderer, because he like to be an evil man. He drank  a medicine to transfer his face to Mr.Hyde. Dr.Lanyon worried about Dr.jekyll, because he took the medicine many times. In addition, Dr.Jekyll knew about the consequences of the medicine. One day, he was stuck as Mr.Hyde, and he couldn’t find out how he could return to Dr.jekyll. after a couple of days, he died in his room, when the Mr.Utterson and Poole went to Dr.jekyll’s house to check on him, they found a dead body of Mr.Hyde on Dr.Jekyll’s room. in that time , they found a letter from Dr.jekyll to acknowledge that Mr.Hyde was Dr.Jekyll.

1-         Muscle Strain:

-        Symptoms (pain at rest, weakness … etc.)

-        Tests: the muscle will be longer.

-        Treatment: Take anti-inflammatory drugs, Protection, rest, ice and compression.

2-         Dislocated:

-        Symptoms (Bulge, and shoulder will separate)

-        Causes: (more flexible in our body)

-        Treatment:  use Analgesic, surgery.

3-         Broken.

-        Your bone which was broken , keep it safe for 1 month and 2 weeks at least, and use cream and Analgesic to fix it, and also don’t play football in 1 month and 2 weeks at least.

4-         Warming:

-        Do exercise 30 minutes at least before playing football. Like push up, walking, jogging, running, and move all your joints and your muscles.

5-         Hydration

-        Drink enough water, like 1 liter before playing football. to give you enough salts for you body, and to avoid your body from drying.
